Anderson Silva v Michael Bisping announced for UFC Fight Night London


It seems Christmas has come early for fight fans as UFC officials have announced UK middleweight Michael Bisping (27-7) will face Brazil’s former middleweight champ Anderson Silva (33-6) to headline UFC Fight Night 83 in London at the o2 Arena.

Bisping, who is coming off a two fight win streak was originally slated to face Gegard Mousasi, he has been calling to face the former champ for a long time and will now be getting his wish to face Anderson Silva on his journey towards the Middleweight title.

Silva, who is looking to rebuild his legacy is coming off a no-contest against Nick Diaz which was his first fight since his horrific leg break against Chris Weidman for the Middleweight title in 2013. With his last win UFC 153 in 2012 he will be looking to get back on a winning streak.
