After visiting Liverpool for the Grand National on the weekend, it seems UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, could have landed himself in some serious hot water with a luxury car firm.
The brash Irishman- who caused a stir while dressed in flip glasses and an unbuttoned shirt at the National – took to Instagram to show himself standing on the bonnet of a Rolls Royce, believed to be worth around £240,000.
The UFC champion was spotted partying in several locations around the city, after flying in to Liverpool on a private jet on Saturday morning.
A spokesperson for the firm revealed that they would consider taking legal action against the 28 year old, and that he would not be welcome to use their services in the future because of “the level of disrespect,” he had shown.
He said, “He stood on the car acting like it’s his own. It’s not his own.” The son of the rental firms owner, ‘Lord’ Alex Iqbal added, “when you own one Conor you can stand on it like Floyd, until then you can lose your deposit for standing on mine.”
McGregor returned to Dublin after the three day excursion, where he continues to prepare for an expected showdown with boxing sensation Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
