The BAMMA London headline fight has been changed due to Maurice Jackson failing to complete BAMMA medicals. The BAMMA Welterweight World Title fight between ‘Mr. Bag & Tag’ Nathan Jones Vs. Alex ‘Da Kid’ Lohore now becomes the main event for the evening.
“BAMMA operate an extremely strict procedure in regard to fighter medicals. Maurice Jackson failed to complete these medicals to the standard required and as such BAMMA has no option other than to remove his bout against Chi Lewis Parry from the BAMMA 31 card. Fortunately we have one of this year’s most eagerly anticipated bouts in Jones v Lohore to step up into the headline slot.” – BAMMA MD Ashley Bothwell
Moving into the main event slot is the bout featuring two of Europe’s hottest talents and bitter rivals ‘Mr Bag & Tag’ Nathan Jones Vs. Alex ‘Da Kid’ Lohore. This bout has been three years in the making and has all the makings of a BAMMA classic. Bad blood, two fighters at the top of their game and London bragging rights are all on the line. With repercussions that will influence the division for the foreseeable future and beyond, it’s all on the line as Jones and Lohore finally come head to head.
