Wales’s top prospect Jack Shore, faces another undefeated opponent this weekend, when he meets Ayton de Paepe at Cage Warriors 89 in Antwerp.
Shore (6-0) is fresh from a stunning third-round knockout of Mattia Galbiati at Cage Warriors 87 last month, and will now look to prove himself in his first fight on foreign soil.
Fighting out of Tillery Combat under head coach Richard Shore – the confident Featherweight has been nothing short of spectacular thus far in his professional career – finishing all 6 of his opponents in a composed and clinical manner that has impressed all at the Cage Warriors organisation.
Shore has become known on the UK scene for his dominant displays of wrestling and slick submissions over the past two years. Added to an ever improving striking game that has won him a massive following in the South Wales valleys.
With his growing fan base, and clear improvements in every fight, it isn’t hard to see why the people of Wales are so exited about the Abertillery native. Make no mistake though, Shore will be met with stiff opposition when he arrives in Belgium this weekend.
Ayton de Paepe is another undefeated prospect who will be eager to make a name for himself, by derailing the Shore hype train, and stealing that momentum for himself. The stage is set and it is all to fight for. A win for either man in such a key match up could mean huge strides in the Featherweight division heading into 2018.
The pairs November 25th showdown will take place at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, on the main card of Cage Warriors 89.
