Brave Combat Federation has signed former UFC fighter Leonardo Mafra. Mafra has a record of 14-4-0 with nine of his victories coming by way of knockouts.
Mafra will be in action at the twelfth edition of Brave Combat Federation which is scheduled to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia. Mafra had his previous fight against Rogerio Santos at the Imortal Fight Championship 7, Brazil which he won by way of TKO by leg kicks leaving his opponent unable to compete.
At Brave 12: KHK Legacy, Mafra will face Gadzhimusa Gaziev (7-3-0) in the middleweight division.
The fight night will take place at May 11 at Balai Sarbini in Jakarta. The event is the fourth appearance for Gaziev in Brave Combat Federation and is one of the most anticipated in his career as his previous bout in Amman, Jordan during Brave 10 was cancelled in the final minute as his opponent opted to pull out of the fight.
Gaziev debuted in the first edition of Brave Combat Federation as a last minute replacement for Mohammad Fakhreddine to face Thiago Vieira. In the bout Gaziev shocked the fans by handing over the first defeat in the career of Thiago Vieira.
Gaziev won the fight by knock out also putting an end to the eight fight win streak of Vieira.
The fight will be crucial for both the fighters as Gaziev is waiting to bounce back with a victory after moving to the Middleweight division while Mafra will be fighting his first in the promotion which is constantly expanding its divisions.
