Cage Warriors 93 Results

April 28 2018 – Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg, Sweden.

In the promotions first venture into Sweden, fans are treated to a plethora of Scandinavian scrappers, mixed in with some UK warriors for good measure.

A fantastic card, Cage Warriors 93 marks the continued efforts to grow the European MMA market by the company. After a fairly local return to the sport following a brief hiatus, Cage Warriors had a regionally centralised few years before coming back to its jet-setting roots in 2017, and 2018 looks to be no different.

The main event is capitalised by the return of Nicolas Dalby (14-2-1) for his first bout since 2016. Dalby was somewhat controversially released from UFC and is now right back to where he made his name. Dalby reigned as the Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion in 2014 before signing with UFC. He went 1-2-1 in the company, with his draw being against Darren Till.

Taking on the Denmark fighter is Carlo Pedersoli Jr (9-1), an Italian American on a 6 fight win streak. Carlo has been touring the European regional circuit since his 2014 debut, with his sole loss coming on his lone venture out of the continent. With his last four victories coming by way of stoppage, Pedersoli Jr as a world of momentum behind him and knows the implications of picking up a win over a former champion.

The preliminary card will be aired live on the MMAUK Facebook page at 5:30 pm GMT.

The main card is available on BT Sports 3 or UFC Fight Pass from 8 pm GMT.
