The X Men featuring Factory X fighters Brandon Royval and Devonte Smith

Factory X is home to many of MMA’S top-tier talents from James Krause to Anthony Smith.  In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet two powerful avalanches whose attacks have their opponents buried six feet under.

Brandon Royval – A professional since August 2012 and representing Factory X, Brandon Royval owns an 8-3 record in 11 career bouts as a professional comprised of four submissions, three knockouts and one decision. Royval has spent the bulk of his professional career with LFA. In his MMA debut at Kick Down MMA 102 Rebels, he defeated Sammy Rind via TKO in the first round. Royval defeated his next two opponents in Danny Mainus and Joey Welch. Then at SCL 53, he tapped out Angel Herandez via triangle choke in round one. For his debut outing with LFA at LFA 5 Royval submitted Rakan Adwan via armbar in the first round. In his next appearance with LFA at LFA 22, he tapped out Demetrius Wilson via triangle choke in the second round. Royval defeated Jerome Rivera via TKO in round one at LFA 39. At LFA 48, he defeated Charles Johnson via unanimous decision to score his third win in a row under the LFA banner. With half of his wins ending via tap out, Royval is a dark horse prospect for LFA at 125 pounds!

Devonte Smith – A professional since September 2015 and representing Factory X, Devonte Smith holds an 8-1 record in nine career bouts as a professional comprised of seven knockouts and one submission. Smith earned a UFC contract on week eight of season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. In his MMA debut, he defeated John Mosley via TKO in round one. Smith also defeated his next three opponents via knockout that saw wins over Mike Wiseman and Xavier Nash. Then, he submitted Damonte Robinson via triangle choke in the first round. For the main event of V3 Fights 65 Smith defeated Nick Gehrts via TKO in round four. He knocked out UFC veteran Justin Edwards in the first round. At DWTNCS 8, Smith knocked out Joseph Lowry in round one and earned a UFC contract in the process. This ruthless knockout artist is ready to bury the competition!
