Aidan James returns to face Frans Mlambo at Brave 17

Aidan James will make his return to Brave Combat Federation on 27th October at Brave 17. The bantamweight fighter from Wales faced Tommy Martin at Brave 13 hosted in Belfast, United Kingdom. James won the fight by TKO and claimed the performance of the night bonus for his action. At 23 years of age, James is undefeated with two wins in his professional career and both the wins coming by way of TKO.

Meanwhile, Mlambo brings extensive experience and training knowledge to the cage as the product from SBG Ireland is a 2015 IMMAF Gold Medalist and one among the first members of the KHK MMA Fight Team.  Recently, Mlambo had also trained alongside JP Buys and Chad Hanekom under Coach Rich Quan in South Africa preparing to face Felipe Efrain. At Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises, Mlambo gave the first promotional loss to Felipe Efrain. At 26 years, Mlambo has a professional career record of 5-3-0 in which both of his losses were against the current bantamweight champion, Stephen Loman.

Mlambo also aided Conor McGregor as a training partner while he prepared for the historic boxing match against Floyd Mayweather. Aidan matches the experience of Mlambo with an amateur record on 12-3 including his fights at the IMMAF.

The bout will take place at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex in Lahore, Pakistan. Brave 17 marks the first International mixed martial arts event hosted in the history of Pakistan. Representation by athletes from 12 nations is confirmed in the first edition of the show in Pakistan.
