Cage Warriors returns to Liverpool at the weekend with another card jam packed with exciting fights.
The main event sees heavyweight Tom Aspinall make his debut in the promotion against Sofiane Boukichou. Aspinall trains with current UFC middleweight Darren Till but hasn’t fought professionally since 2016 when he knocked out Kamil Bazelak in the first round. Nevertheless, Till described his friend as “the Muhammad Ali of his era” and Aspinall has previously sparred with heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury. He faces the flying heavyweight contender Boukichou who has pieced together a five-fight win streak consisting of three finishes. The Frenchman enters enemy territory but will be confident of causing an upset.
In the co-main event of the evening, Byran Creighton faces off against Manuel Bilic in a bantamweight showdown. Creighton’s confidence will be sky high after winning his previous four bouts via stoppage including two submissions. It will be his first appearance back under the Cage Warriors banner since October 2017. His Croatian opponent is also coming off a win in his last fight, defeating Hasan Camzatov by submission back in November.

Cage Warriors 101 takers place on Saturday, February 16. The amateur card begins at 5pm GMT with the pro preliminary card kicking off at 7pm GMT. The main card is scheduled to start at 9pm GMT.
