Smooth Sailing in Rough Waters featuring Cage Warriors fighters Josh Abraham and Nathan Fletcher

In some cases, it takes a good amount of time for up and comers to find their footing in Cage Warriors. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to two of the promotion’s leading young talents looking to sail onto glory.

Josh Abraham

A professional since September 2015 and representing Roker Rough House, Josh Abraham holds a 6-4 record in 10 career bouts as a professional comprised of three submissions and three knockouts. Abraham has managed to earn a finish in all six of his professional victories. In his MMA debut at Machine MMA 13, he defeated David Young via TKO in the first round. Abraham knocked out Wes O’ Neil in round one at MMA Total Combat 68. Then at ICE FC 16, he defeated Josh Calloway via TKO in the first round. Abraham defeated his next two opponents via submission in Craig Clarkson in the first round via armbar at Made 4 The Cage 23 Carnage and Ash Griffiths in round one at Generations Of Combat FC 1 respectively. In his second and final appearance with Made 4 The Cage at Made 4 The Cage 25 Legacy Abraham faced Danny Nash and tapped him out in the first round via armbar. The win also earned Abraham the third submission victory of his professional career. Having finished all six of his wins in his professional career thus far, Abraham has the heart and fierceness of a bulldog who rains down pure fury on his opponents with every closing of the cage door!

Nathan Fletcher

A professional since May 2019 and representing Next Generation Liverpool, Nathan Fletcher holds a 1-0 record with his lone professional victory coming via submission. He is currently 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner. In his MMA debut at Cage Warriors 105, he faced Rico Biggs and submitted him via arm triangle choke in the first round to secure his first win under the Cage Warriors banner. Fletcher also picked up the first submission win of his professional career in the process.
