Python of Granite featuring Cage Fury Fighting Championships fighter Pat Sabatini

Eastern MMA fighters have always garnered a bend but never break mentality. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a granite python whose constricting squeeze has opponents running for the hills screaming mercy. A professional since April 2014 and representing Renzo Gracie Philly and MPR Endurance MMA, Pat Sabatini owns an 11-2 record in 13 career bouts as a professional comprised of nine submissions and two decisions. Sabatini has spent the bulk of his professional tenure with Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He has also competed with CES MMA and Ring Of Combat. Sabatini has finished nine of his 11 professional victories.

In his MMA debut at CFFC 35, he submitted Jacob Bohn via rear naked choke in the first round. Sabatini also tapped out Shelby Graham in round one via rear naked choke. Then at CFFC 52, he submitted Tony Gravely in the first round via rear naked choke. Sabatini defeated William Calhoun iii via unanimous decision at Dead Serious MMA 18. At Dead Serious MMA 22 he tapped out Renaldo Weekley via heel hook in the first round. For his lone outing with Ring Of Combat at ROC 58, Sabatini took on Mike Lawrence and submitted him via rear naked choke in the second round. In the main event of CFFC 67, he tapped out John de Jesus in the first round via heel hook. Sabatini also submitted Fransisco Isata via rear naked choke in round two at CFFC 69. In his only appearance with CES MMA at CES MMA 52, he tapped out Borah Karmo via rear naked choke in round one.

At CFFC 71 which also marked the promotion’s debut event on UFC Fight Pass, Sabatini faced Da’Mon Blackshear and defeated him via unanimous decision to earn his second decision win as a professional. For the headliner of CFFC 74, he faced Brazil’s Fabricio Oliveira and tapped him out via rear naked choke in round two. The win also earned Sabatini the ninth submission victory of his professional career. There is no escaping from the granite grip of this constricting python!
