Across The Pond Profile: Billy Quarantillo

The Ultimate Fighter has produced numerous alumni that have gotten a second shot at stardom thanks to Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a sharklike savage ready to swim straight to the top with his UFC opportunity. A professional since February 2013 and representing Gracie Tampa South, Billy Quarantillo owns a 12-2 record in 14 career bouts as a professional comprised of five knockouts, four submissions and three decisions. Quarantillo earned a contract with the UFC on week five of season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has finished nine of his 12 professional victories.

In his MMA debut, he defeated John De Jesus via split decision. Quarantillo submitted his next four opponents that included wins over Terrell Hobbs and Howard Reece. Then at Strike Off 4, he defeated Karma Worthy via TKO in the second round. In 2015 Quarantillo was chosen to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter season 22 cast as a member of Team USA at lightweight. To make it into the house he faced Brandon Ricetti and defeated him via TKO in round two. At AFC 24 Quaranttillo defeated Marc Stevens via unanimous decision. In his debut appearance with King Of the Cage at KOTC National Dispute, he defeated Matt DiMarcantonio via unanimous decision. At KOTC Raw Deal he defeated Ryan Fillingame via TKO in the second round. In the main event of V3 Fights 61, Quarantillo faced Eric Reynolds and defeated him via TKO in round one. For his third and final outing with King Of the Cage at KOTC Combat Zone, he faced Adrian Vilaca and knocked him out in the second round.

At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 5, Quarantillo faced Kamuela Kirk and defeated him via TKO in round three to secure a contract with the UFC.
