Across the Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Madars Fleminas

International talents have seemingly taken on more of a prominent role throughout the globe in MMA whether they come from Europe, the United States or elsewhere. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a bullet train looking to speed through the Cage Warriors welterweight ranks with a statement victory at Cage Warriors 109 on October 26 and fast track himself to becoming one of the division’s elite forces. A professional since December 2017 and representing Bateman MMA, Madars Fleminas owns an undefeated 6-0 record comprised of three knockouts, two decisions and one submission. Prior to making his debut appearance with Cage Warriors in 2019, Fleminas competed with Caged Steel. He has gone on to earn a finish in four of his six professional victories so far in his professional career.

In his MMA debut at Caged Steel 19, he faced Percy Hess and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. Fleminas also defeated Shawn Lomas at Caged Steel 21 via unanimous decision. Then at Caged Steel 22, he faced Lukasz Pitch and submitted him in round one. For his debut outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 101 Fleminas defeated Matthew Bonner via split decision to pick up his first win under the Cage Warriors banner. He also defeated Kenneth Richardson. Fleminas defeated Tom Crosby via TKO in the second round at Caged Steel 23. The victory also earned Fleminas the third knockout win of his professional career and also extended his undefeated streak to six to begin his professional career in the process.

In his second appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 109 on October 26, he will face the undefeated George Hardwick in a welterweight clash between two hungry lions that have a keen eye for the finish. Good luck Medars!
