Across the Pond Profile: Warrior Xtreme fighter Collin Anglin

If you are going to succeed in the mixed martial arts, you need to grab the bull by the horns and ride it until you get bucked off or get thrown from the saddle. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a wolverine of rage ready to cement himself as the top beast amongst featherweights with a sweeping statement of a victory at Warrior Wednesday 11 on January 29 from the Crystal Gardens in Southgate, Michigan live on UFC Fight Pass and continue to hone his sharpened claws of steel into becoming one of Michigan’s featherweight elites.      A professional since September 2017 and representing Scorpion Fighting System, Collin Anglin owns a 6-1 record in seven professional bouts comprised of three knockouts, two decisions and one submission. Anglin has finished four of his six professional victories and has competed with various promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has also fought for numerous regional promotions in his home state of Michigan including Lights Out Championship and Warrior Xtreme.

In his MMA debut at PFO Round 1, Anglin submitted Arjay Sprauge in the second round. He also defeated Mario Aguilar via unanimous decision at WXC 72 Inferno. Then at Motor City Cagefights 4, Anglin faced Murjan Flowers and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. At Lights Out Championship 2 he defeated Brandon Emmons via TKO in the second round. For his first and only outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 70 Anglin faced Morgan Sickinger and defeated him via TKO in round one.

In his second appearance with Warrior Xtreme at Warrior Wednesday 7, he defeated Andrew Karsten via TKO in the second round. The win also earned Anglin the third knockout victory of his professional career. At Warrior Wednesday 11 on January 29 that will kick off Warrior Xtreme’s campaign for 2020, Anglin will take on Will Frost in a contest at featherweight. Good luck Collin!
