A professional since March 2018 and representing Fortis MMA, Cheyanne Buys owns a 4-1 record in five professional contests comprised of three decisions and one knockout. Buys has competed with Legacy Fighting Alliance, the South African MMA promotion EFC and Invicta Fighting Championships.

In her MMA debut at LFA 35, she faced Karla Hernandez and went on to defeat her via TKO in the third round to pick up her first and only knockout win as a professional thus far and also secured her first victory under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. Then in her one and only outing with EFC at EFC 74 Buys defeated Poland’s Karolina Wojcik via split decision. She also defeated Canadian Lindsey Garbatt at BTC 6 Night of Champions via unanimous decision.

In her second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 78, Buys faced Rebecca Adney and defeated her via unanimous decision. The win also earned Buys the third decision victory of her professional career.
