There are promotions that are always going to be willing to give women a fair slice of the pie so they can springboard onto bigger and more enriching career opportunities later on down the line and nowhere is this truer than in Legacy Fighting Alliance. in today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a ravishing dragon whose floor wizardry has engulfed the LFA strawweight ranks in towering sheets that appears to have created a solid wall of thick billowing black smoke all around it. A professional since December 2017 and representing Black House MMA, Vanessa Demopoulos owns a 4-1 record in five professional contests comprised of two submissions and two decisions. Demopoulos has spent the majority of her tenure as a professional with Legacy Fighting Alliance and has also fought for Iron Tiger Fight Series. She has gone on to secure a finish in two of her four victories in her career as a professional mixed martial artist thus far.
In her MMA debut at Iron Tiger Fight Series 79, she faced Emme Weber and went on to submit her in the first round via armbar. Demopoulos defeated Valerie Soto via majority decision in her second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 62. For her third promotional outing at LFA 69, she took on Nadine Mandaiu and tapped her out via armbar in the first round to pick up her second submission win as a professional.
In her fourth appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 81, Demopoulos faced Loveth Young and managed to defeat her via unanimous decision. The win also secured Demopoulos the second decision victory of her professional career. Skilled at the art of the tapout and becoming increasingly confident with standing and trading in the pocket, this dragon’s flame increases in the heat with each and every professional MMA contest that passes!
