Across the Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Justin Wetzell

Making a name for yourself on the smaller and lesser-known promotions within the regional circuit is a sure-fire tactic to catch the eye of the big leaguers. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a warrior of snow and ice looking to chill Legacy Fighting Alliance to the bare bones and cause the Rockies to send buckets upon buckets of cold with practised ease. A professional since April 2016 and representing Elevation Fight Team, Justin Wetzell owns a 5-1 record in six professional MMA bouts comprised of three decisions and two knockouts. Prior to making his Legacy Fighting Alliance debut in November 2019 at LFA 79. he competed with Pinnacle Combat and Caged Aggression and has finished two of his five victories in his career as a professional mixed martial artist thus far. Wetzell is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance.

In his MMA debut at Caged Aggression 17 Rise of Champions part 2, he faced Jamie Medina and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Wetzell also defeated Dalton Grinstead at Pinnacle Combat MMA 26 via unanimous decision. Then at Pinnacle Combat 28, he faced Earnest Walls and defeated him via unanimous decision to pick up his third decision win as a professional thus far. For his final outing with Caged Aggression at Caged Aggression 24 Champion’s Night 2, he defeated Adem Mujackic via TKO in the first round.

In his debut outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 79, Wetzell took on Michael Aquila and went on to knock him out in the first round to secure the second knockout victory of his professional career. He also earned his first win in Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. Coming in at 5-1 with ice-cold punching power this bringer of avalanches is churning up ground and burying every single thing in his path at a breakthrough pace!
