Across the Pond Profile: Unified MMA light heavyweight champion Graham Park

It is not always your best bet to play the long waiting game in mixed martial arts. in today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a bruising bull of the north looking to bang down the gavel of lady justice in one swift move with his done in one blitz attack style in his first defence of the Unified MMA light heavyweight title at Unified MMA 40 on March 14 and cement his status as the top light heavyweight in all of Canada. A professional since December 2010 and representing Shaved Bears MMA, Graham Park owns a 7-2 record in nine professional bouts comprised of four knockouts and three submissions. Park is the current Unified MMA light heavyweight champion and has finished all seven of his profession with all of them coming within the first round. He has yet to make it to the judges in his tenure as a professional mixed martial artist thus far.

At Unified MMA 13, he defeated Connor Radkie via TKO in the first round. Park also defeated Jordan Murray via TKO in round one at WSOF Canada 2. Then at MFC 41 All In, he submitted Justin Schmit in the first round via rear-naked choke. Park also tapped out Markhaile Wedderburn via rear-naked choke at Triumph FC 1 Inception. At Unified MMA 28, he faced Trenton Rowell and submitted him in round one via rear-naked choke to pick up his third submission win as a professional. He knocked out Tyler Weran in the first round at Unified MMA 36 Mayhem.

At Unified MMA 38, he took on Sheldon Doll and managed to defeat him via TKO in the first round. The win also earned Park the fourth knockout victory of his professional career. In his first Unified MMA light heavyweight title defence at Unified MMA 40 on March 14 Park will face 18 fight Canadian MMA veteran and fellow finisher Neil Berry. Good luck Graham!
