In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a slashing Swedish scythe looking to chop Brave Combat Federation into pieces at Brave CF 37 on April 18 in the promotions debut event on Swedish soil and put her nation back in the MMA spotlight with a performance the Swedish faithful won’t soon forget. A professional since December 2017 and representing Akademi Nord, Malin Hermansson owns a 4-1 record in five professional bouts with all four of her victories coming via decision. Hermansson his competed with various global promotions including Cage Warriors, Bellator MMA and Superior Challenge in her home nation of Sweden. All four of her fights as a professional mixed martial artist thus far have gone the distance or the full 15 minutes with each contest having gone to the scorecards of the judges.

In her MMA debut at Superior Challenge 16 Stockholm, she faced Gabriella Ringblom of Sweden and defeated her via split decision. Hermansson also defeated another fellow swede in Cornelia Holm via split decision in her one and only outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 93 that also marked the promotion’s debut show in the nation of Sweden. Then at Nerike MMA series 1, she defeated Antonela Orlic via split decision. Hermansson defeated Karla Benitez via unanimous decision at Superior Challenge 20 Stockholm. The win also earned Hermansson the fourth decision victory of her professional career in a row.

In her debut appearance with Brave Combat Federation at Brave CF 37 on April 18, she will face yet another international opponent in France’s Manon Fiorot in a clash at women’s flyweight. Good luck Malin!
