A professional since September 2017 and representing Team Ryano under head coach Andy Ryan, James Sheehan owns a 2-2 record in four professional bouts with both wins coming via submission. Sheehan has competed with Cage Warriors, BAMMA and Cage Warriors Academy Northwest. Both of Sheehan’s victories as a professional mixed martial artist have come inside of three rounds with one first-round finish and the other coming within round two. In his one and only appearance with BAMMA at BAMMA 35 in his home nation of Ireland, he faced Dillon Manning and went on to submit him via rear-naked choke in the first round. For his second outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 112 that also marked the promotion’s debut show in Manchester Sheehan tapped out Kyran Sturrock in the second round via rear-naked choke to earn the second submission victory of his professional career along with his first win in Cage Warriors. When this emerald cobra latches on to your back there is no route of escape!
A professional since November 2019 and representing SBG Manchester under head coach Matt Inman, Manny Akpan owns a 2-0 record comprised of one submission and one decision.
