Across the Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Matt Dixon

When Legacy Fighting Alliance hits the road to new US states, prospects and future stars of the UFC become born. A professional since September 2017 and representing WCF Tulsa, Matt Dixon owns an undefeated 9-0 record comprised of five knockouts, three decisions and one submission. Prior to making his debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 83 in March 2020, Dixon fought for regional promotions in his home state of Oklahoma including XFN and has gone on to earn a finish in six of his nine victories as a professional mixed martial artist and is currently 1-0 with Legacy Fighting Alliance.

In his MMA debut, he submitted Kevin Rayford in the third round. Dixon defeated his next two opponents via TKO in Kemmyelle Haley and Jared McLoughlin. Then at XFL 349, he took on Chauncey Foxworth and defeated him via unanimous decision. Dixon also defeated Codale Ford via unanimous decision at XFL Rage on the River. At XFN 352 he defeated Teegan Dooley via TKO in the first round. Dixon defeated Brian Grinnell at XFN 353 super fights via TKO in round one. He defeated Braden Smith via TKO in the second round at XFN 357 to pick up his fifth knockout win as a professional.

For his debut outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance, Dixon faced Justin Patterson in the co-main event of LFA 83 and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision to earn the third decision victory of his professional career along with his first win in LFA.
