Across the Pond Profile: Combat Zone MMA fighter Aaron Jeffery

At various points during season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, several prospects from north of the border made their respective entrances onto MMA’s big stage. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a fearsome bear whose frightening roar of an arsenal has his foes shaking in the snow and prove just how resilient mixed martial artists can be when wolves are truly at their back at 27 years old.  A professional since October 2014 and representing Para Bellum MMA, Aaron Jeffery owns a 7-2 record in nine professional bouts comprised of five knockouts, one submission and one decision. Jeffery appeared on week four during season three of DWTNCS in 2019 and has finished six of his seven professional victories with the bulk of those wins coming inside of three rounds and only one of the seven last the full three thus far in his tenure as a professional mixed martial artist.

In his MMA debut at OFC 22, he submitted Matt Anderson in the first round via triangle choke. Jeffery defeated Dave Lastafka via knockout in round two at Caged Vengeance 16. Then at KOTC Extreme Horsepower, he took on Tj Sumter and defeated him via TKO in the first round. Jeffery defeated Chad Kelly via unanimous decision at Honor FC 3 Operation Shockwave. At BTC 3 Prophecy he defeated Alex Beaule via TKO in the third round. Jeffery also defeated Johnathan Vailee at BTC 5 Typhoon via TKO in round four.

In the main event of Combat Zone 71, he faced Dennis Olson and went on to defeat him in the second round. The win also earned Jeffery the fifth knockout victory of his professional career. With six finishes out of seven contests, the prospects are starting to shine through the ice with this Viking of the north swinging the double-bladed axe of mother victory!
