Across the Pond Profile: Trey Ogden

Many a submission specialist has hailed from the show me state including current UFC star Grant Dawson. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a tiger of the tapout looking to rake opponents every limb he can latch on to with his sizeable steel claws. A professional since January 2015 and representing Glory MMA and Fitness, Trey Ogden owns a 12-4 record in 16 professional bouts as a mixed martial artist comprised of nine submissions and three decisions. Ogden has competed with various promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance, Bellator MMA and Victory FC and has finished nine of his 12 professional victories with the majority of the wins coming between the first and second round and one coming in round three.

In his MMA debut, he submitted Herbert Morgan via rear-naked choke in the first round. Ogden also tapped out his next three opponents that included wins over Kenny Licea and Nick Radtka. Then, he faced Cjay Hunter and went on to defeat him via split decision. For his one and only outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 159, he submitted Manuel Meraz in the second round. Ogden defeated Josh Pheifer via unanimous decision at Victory FC 55. At Victory FC 57 he tapped out Chance Thackston in round two via rear-naked choke. In his debut fight with LFA at LFA 21, Ogden submitted Tj Brown in the first round. He also tapped out Travis Perzynski in round three at LFA 34. Ogden defeated Anthony Baccam via unanimous decision in the co-main event of LFA 60 to pick up his third decision win as a professional.

At Blue Corner Promotions ultimate blue corner battles, he faced Brad Greick and submitted him in the second round via rear-naked choke. The win also secured Ogden the ninth submission victory of his professional career. With three-fourths of his fights ending with a tapout, there is no taming this untameable tiger!
