A professional since December 2017 and representing Rock City MMA, Solo Hatley Jr owns an 8-2 record in 10 professional bouts comprised of four decisions, three knockouts and one submission. Prior to debuting with Bellator MMA in February 2020 at Bellator 239, Hatley Jr fought for various promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has finished half of his victories in his professional MMA career with each of his four finishes coming before the final sound of the bell. Hatley Jr is currently 1-0 under the banner of Bellator MMA. He has also competed with numerous regional promotions in his home state of Arkansas including Pyramid Fights.
At HD MMA 11, he faced Brandon Bailey and went on to defeat him via TKO in the third round. Hatley Jr also defeated Greg Hussey via unanimous decision. Then at Horsepower Productions Fists of Fury 17, he submitted Cory Jennings in the first round. Hatley Jr defeated his next two opponents in Jerrod Jennings and Jerrod Osthoff. in his Legacy Fighting Alliance debut fight at LFA 67 he took on Terry Britton and knocked him out in the first round to pick up his third knockout win as a professional. At Pyramid Fights 14 Hatley Jr defeated Aj Cunningham via unanimous decision.
In his debut fight with Bellator MMA at Bellator 239, he faced California knockout artist Gaston Bolanos and went on to defeat him via split decision. The win also earned Hatley Jr the fourth decision victory of his professional career along with his first win in Bellator MMA. With fellow featherweight Daniel Carey having planted the seed, Hatley Jr is becoming another branch of the tree!
