Across the Pond Profile: Chris Ocon and Tebaris Gordon

Outings on DWTNCS often rekindle the flame of success or be the beginning for the next grade A prospect. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet two serpents of Southern MMA ready to showcase their own lethal stings as professional mixed martial artists.

Chris Ocon

A professional since November 2017 and representing Nashville MMA, Chris Ocon owns a 4-2 record in six professional bouts comprised of two knockouts, one submission and one decision. Ocon appeared on week three during season number three of DWTNCS in 2019. He has also fought for Legacy Fighting Alliance, Valor Fighting Challenge and Summit Fighting Championships. In his MMA debut at Valor Fights 46 Nashville, he submitted Dre Miley via rear-naked choke in the second round, Ocon also defeated Joshua Weems via TKO in round two at SFC 28. Then at Valor Fighting Challenge 54, he faced Tyler Jordan Edwards and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. At Altitude MMA Fights 16 Ocon defeated Reggie Adams via unanimous decision to earn his first and only decision victory as a professional. Despite only being six pro fights in, Ocon’s snipe or be sniped style has ignited the south’s next five-star fireball!

Tebaris Gordon

A professional since May 2016 and representing Gym O, Tebaris Gordon owns a 3-1 record in four professional bouts with all three of his wins coming via knockout. Gordon appeared on week eight during season two of DWTNCS in 2018 and has fought for LFA. In his MMA debut, he defeated Micah Barr via TKO in the third round. Gordon defeated Chandler Cole via TKO in round one in his sole appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 17. He defeated Marvin Skipper via TKO in the second round at Warfare MMA 17 and picked up his third knockout win as a professional. With a knockout rate of 100 per cent, this tar heel of thunder rattles the earth with one booming crash!
