Across the Pond Profile: Brittney Cloudy of Team Oyama MMA and Fitness

The true test for anyone aspiring to become a mixed martial artist is the ability to dance with the rain even when decisions don’t lead to the big pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and seeing the sun come out from behind the clouds to wash away the tears of mother nature and enrich the soil of the earth. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a tigress of thunder and lightning whose arsenal has caused countless foes to be blown off course by severe turbulence. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2018 and representing Team Oyama MMA and Fitness under the direction of head coach Collin Oyama, Brittney Cloudy owns a 2-2 record in four professional bouts comprised of one submission and one decision. Cloudy has fought for Legacy Fighting Alliance, Invicta Fighting Championships, and King Of The Cage. She has only gone to the scorecards once in her career as a pro-MMA fighter with her one and only finishes as a professional coming inside of round three. She has competed with Lights Out Xtreme Fighting, an MMA promotion based in her home state of California.

At Lights Out Xtreme Fighting 3, she faced Tiani Vaile and went on to submit her via rear-naked choke in the third round to pick up her first and only submission win as a professional. Then at King Of The Cage Hard Drive, Cloudy defeated Tori Say via unanimous decision. The win earned Cloudy the first and only decision victory of her professional career. Under no circumstance is any opponent allowed to alter mother nature’s forecast because it calls for some dark and stormy weather ahead if errors and lapses are made inside the cage when battling against this crescendo crasher and reaper of weather in all forms of storms!
