Across the Pond Profile: Fury Fighting Championship fighter Courtney King

If there is one thing you can’t measure in the world of mixed martial arts, it is the size of a fighter’s heart and resolve on any given fight day. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a lioness of the snow and ice leaving opponents frozen in fear thanks to her avalanche of attacks either on the ground or standing up high and tight in the pocket for the heavy heat of a stand-up battle. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2017 and representing Z’S  Gym, Courtney King owns a 4-1 record in five bouts as a professional comprised of two submissions, one knockout, and one decision. King has fought for Invicta Fighting Championships, Legacy Fighting Alliance, and Fury Fighting Championship. She has gone on to finish three of her four victories and has gone to the judge’s scorecards just once in her career as a pro-MMA fighter thus far.

In her MMA debut at LFA 14, she faced Colbey Northcutt and went on to defeat her via TKO in the second round to earn her first and only knockout win as a professional. She also earned her only victory under the LFA banner in the process. King submitted Holli Logan in round two via rear-naked choke in her second appearance with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 34. Then at Fusion Fight League Fights under the lights 6, she defeated Gase Sanita via unanimous decision to pick up her lone decision win as a professional.

In the main event of Fury Fighting Championship 41, she took on Audrey Wolfe and tapped her out via rear-naked choke in the fourth round. The win earned King the second submission victory of her professional career. At 4-1 with a 75 percent finish rate, this snow lioness has created a chill effect with a roar that shakes the Rockies!
