Across the Pond Profile: ARES Fighting Championship fighter David Bear

The fighting French are well known for being party crashers in their quest to be the center of a takeover across The United States and Europe. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a tri-colored bear of brutality ready to shake ARES Fighting Championship to the very foundation with a quaking roar. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2012 and representing Obyfight, David Bear owns a 9-1 record as a professional in 10 bouts comprised of five submissions, three decisions, and one knockout. Bear has fought for numerous promotions from all over the globe including Brave CF and Cage Warriors and has gone on to earn a finish in six of his nine victories in his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far with three of the nine wins making it on to the scorecards.

In his MMA debut, he faced Sebastien Harel and went on to submit him via armbar in the first round. Bear defeated his next two opponents via decision in Davy Gallon and Jean Bengal. He defeated Benjamin Nuessle in the first round at GOW 9 new beginning. Bear tapped out Rudy Saoudi in the first round via rear-naked choke. At Desert Force 20 Dubai he submitted Mohamad Ghorabi via rear-naked choke in round two. Then at GFA 5, Bear tapped out Jean Dutriaix via armbar in the first round. He knocked out Pawel Kielek in round one at Brave CF 19 to pick up his first and only knockout win as a professional.

For his promotional debut outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 113, he defeated English submission specialist Nathan Jones via unanimous decision. The win earned Bear the third decision victory of his professional career along with win number one under the banner of Cage Warriors. At 9-1 with six finishes under his belt, there is danger around each and every corner when Bear’s found game gets roaring!
