Bigger, Bolder, Braver: BRAVE CF returns with even higher goals after Covid-19 hiatus

In early 2020, when the Covid-19 crisis was starting to spread worldwide, BRAVE Combat Federation, the Bahrain-based Mixed Martial Arts promotion founded by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, became one of the first promotions and sports leagues to suspend its activities until further notice.

The months ahead were of intense work and preparation inside the BRAVE CF headquarters, in which the company led actions in its home country of Bahrain, an international awareness campaign, and developed a strong and comprehensive safety and security protocol, on par with the highest international standards, to finally resume its operations.

Along this solid backbone, BRAVE Combat Federation returned with a flair and delivered an intense night of fights, with epic moments and highlight-worthy performances in BRAVE CF 35, which took place on July 20 in Bucharest, Romania. The show’s finest moments went viral as Ion Grigore’s comeback was lauded by fans and media, as well as Mihau Laurentiu Iorga’s vicious KO victory, with thousands of views across all digital platforms reinforcing BRAVE CF’s position.

Once again causing impact and making waves within the industry, BRAVE Combat Federation reinforced its visionary and innovative nature, based on a complete narrative-shift inside the MMA industry, moving it from an event perspective to a standalone sport as a whole.

Even when BRAVE CF was not taking place itself, the promotion managed to capture the headlines with the repercussion of its one-of-a-kind scouting program, the best within the MMA community, with several BRAVE CF athletes and former athletes being the focal point of the sport for weeks.

Topping this combination, the recent times were also used by BRAVE CF executives to expand the business endeavors, with several partnerships signed, including six massive content and distribution agreements in less than a month, and new ventures for events and various intellectual properties.

The most successful MMA promotion within its first four years of existence, BRAVE Combat Federation increased its portfolio, international reach, and market share, becoming the second biggest Mixed Martial Arts promotion in the world by global reach.

The upcoming months are challenging, with uncertainty casting its shadows over the world of sports and business. That’s exactly why BRAVE Combat Federation’s dynamic approach and system-changing-oriented business plan are the much-needed breath of fresh air, full of innovation and possibilities required in such times.
