Fans can watch ONE Championship for FREE

MMA TV first to secure ONE Championship rights

Combat sports fans will be able to view this Friday’s world class ONE Championship for free by streaming live via a UK company for the first time ever.

MMA TV has become the first OTT media service in the UK to live stream the global event which receives billions of views as it features the best Muay Thai fighters on the planet.

Friday afternoon’s No Surrender in Bangkok is the first of ten scheduled ONE Championship events to be shown on MMA TV over the next three months. Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon will defend his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title against his old foe and compatriot Petchdam “The Baby Shark” Petchyindee Academy. ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion and divisional king Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy will be challenged by Muay Thai legend “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex in what is sure to be an instant classic.

Siju Roseje, founder of MMA TV, commented: “This deal is great news for Mixed Martial Arts fans in the UK because the quality of bouts and overall production of ONE Championship is indisputable, as No Surrender will demonstrate. It shows our commitment to bringing the world’s best MMA to the growing UK audience and we will be offering live access to all of this and next year’s ONE Championship events, some of which will feature home grown talent.”

MMA TV is becoming the first UK company to produce original content around our best fighters such as former Muay Thai One Champion Jonathan Haggerty. Other UK fighters who will feature in ONE include Liam Harrisom, Bernise Alldis, Liam Nolan, Juan Cervantes, Jacob Smith and Iman Barlow. The shoulder programming around the events will be featured on www.mmatv.com every week.

MMA TV recently reported a 50% increase in views of world class fights across pay per view, subscription, YouTube and social media channels during lockdown between April and June, totalling 4.25 million streams.

Immediately prior to the announcement about ONE Championship, a groundbreaking deal was reached with Mobile Billing meaning fans can access MMA TV fights in the easiest possible way: by pushing a single button on their phone and being charged by their mobile provider. The channel’s surge in popularity has also resulted in an agreement with Samsung TV whereby those who own recent Samsung sets can view MMA TV content at their leisure.

Siju Roseje launched MMA TV to provide a platform for the top MMA talent to showcase their skills and attract investment and promotional partners to themselves and the industry. The channel’s monthly subscription option was launched in March 2020 and the premium live content has helped attract the likes of ONE Championship, Mobile Billing and Samsung to the arena.
