Daniel Gaucho says he will ‘retire’ Mohammad Fakhreddine at BRAVE CF 41

Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine is one of the most popular names in the Middle Eastern MMA, and a pioneer in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in the region.  Daniel Gaucho will have the chance to make his words come true on September 17, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the main event of the evening for BRAVE CF 41. The event opens up a series of three consecutive cards in the promotion’s home nation labeled as “Kombat Kingdom”.

Fakhreddine emerged as a local star back in 2012, and made a name for himself becoming a two-division regional champion. The big leap came in 2016, when he signed his first international contract and joined BRAVE Combat Federation.

From then on, the Lebanese established himself as a reference for global audiences when it comes to Middle Eastern athletes and fighting style, which can be crowned with his first world title at BRAVE CF 41, on September 17, when he faces the Middleweight kingpin Daniel Gaucho.

This whole story, though, does not move the champion Daniel, who expressed his respect for Fakhreddine’s background coming to the fight but took the chance to promise a career-ending beating when they meet inside the cage.

“I respect him a lot, he’s indeed a legend of MMA in the Arab world”, Daniel said. “He’s a great fighter and all, and I respect his history. But his time is coming up, it’s getting to be the time for him to retire and I’m going to retire him’’, says the confident champion, who has been working on a special plan to contain his opponent’s strongest weapons.

‘’I like his fighting style, he goes for brawls as well, he has very heavy leg kicks, but I’m confident in my training, and in the plan we made to neutralize his weapons. I’m going to keep this belt for a long time’’.
