Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Will Starks

In spite of the havoc that 2020 has reaped upon the nation’s pride, LFA offered the MMA faithful a light of hopeful sunshine in a year filled with a dark gloom. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a soldier of the lord spreading the fighting gospel to all who hear him as his career gains a billowing cloud of steam in pursuit of MMA’S higher power.A professional mixed martial artist since January 2017 and representing Huelett House MMA and Columbia Training Academy, Will Starks owns a 4-1 record in five professional bouts comprised of two decisions, one knockout, and one submission. Starks fought for several promotions including Titan Fighting Championship prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance in December 2020 at LFA 96 and has finished two out of his four victories during his time thus far as a pro-MMA fighter with two first-round finishes. He is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. Starks has gone to the scorecards twice in his tenure as a professional mixed martial artist so far with both of those wins going the full distance over three rounds.

In his MMA debut at Titan FC 43, he defeated Jose Andres Cortes via TKO in the first round. Starks submitted Steve Kinnison in round one via rear-naked choke at Midwest Fight League Battle at the Brewery. Then, he defeated Chuka Willis via a unanimous decision.

For his first outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 96, Starks defeated Vlacheslav Borshchev via a split decision. The victory earned Starks the second decision win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process.
