He submitted his next two opponents in Trey Singleton and Benny Delgado. Then at Fight For it 4, Edwards defeated Mike Powell via unanimous decision. He defeated Brandon Marotte via unanimous decision at Combat Zone 70 Relentless. At Ultimate Battlegrounds 4 the return, Edwards defeated Jake Willyard via TKO in round one to pick up his second knockout win as a professional.
In the main event of HRMMA 116, he defeated submission specialist and Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season three alumni Lance Lawrence via unanimous decision.
