Across The Pond Profile: Edwin Chavez

Becoming a mixed martial artist can be a hard road to walk even for the strong-hearted. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an eagle of the snow burying foes six feet under with his icy assaults of molten flames as he looks to skate and shreds the competition as the new year dawns.  A professional mixed martial artist since September 2019 and representing Pariah MMA, Edwin Chavez owns an undefeated 4-0 record as a professional comprised of two decisions, one knockout, and one submission. Chavez has fought for several promotions throughout his career as a pro-MMA fighter including Legacy Fighting Alliance and has finished two out of his four victories with two-first round finishes. He has made it onto the scorecards twice during his time thus far as a professional mixed martial artist, winning via decision on both occasions. Chavez has also fought for Fury FC and Midwest Fighting Championship.

In his MMA debut at Fury FC 37, he defeated Kyle Broadwater via TKO in the first round. Chavez defeated Michael Santos via unanimous decision in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 79. Then in his second outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 91, he tapped out Keilan Fantroy in the first round via rear-naked choke to pick up his first submission win as a professional along with back to back victories with LFA.

At MCF 19 The Beatdown, Chavez defeated Jordan Downey via unanimous decision. The victory earned Chavez the second decision win of his professional career. He also extended his unbeaten streak to four to begin his journey in the professional ranks in the process. Well rounded and undefeated, Chavez his the power and fury of a thousand avalanches when he enters the fray that a bloodbath brings in the dead of winter!
