Nguyen appeared on week six during the third season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has finished six out of his seven victories thus far in his career as a pro-MMA fighter. He fought for several promotions including Shamrock FC prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance in February 2021 at LFA 100. Nguyen is currently 1-0 under the LFA banner.
In his MMA debut, he tapped out Edgar Urias via rear-naked choke in the first round. Nguyen also submitted Steve Brown in round one at EFC 4. Then at Shamrock FC 285, he defeated Garrett Mueller via unanimous decision. Nguyen knocked out Jose Leyva in the first round. At EFC 8 battle for blood 2, he submitted Aaron Roberson in round one. Nguyen defeated Brandon Bailey via TKO in the fourth round at EFC 11.
