Jack Cartwright defends title against Sylwester Miller at CW121

Another title fight has been confirmed for Cage Warriors 121. The co-main event on Friday 19th March will see Jack Cartwright (9-0) put his bantamweight belt and undefeated record on the line.

The Englishman will aim to defend his title for the third time against Poland’s Sylwester Miller (9-3) in the second show of the latest ‘THE TRILOGY’ series of events. This fight will be part of a double bill of championship match-ups at the top of the card as Agy Sardari faces Ben Lakhdhar for the Cage Warriors lightweight title in the main event.

Cage Warriors 121 is shaping up to be one of the most stacked cards of the year,” said Cage Warriors President, Graham Boylan.

“On top of an exciting lightweight title fight, we have now signed a bantamweight championship bout that could steal the show. Jack has been one of the most exciting men in MMA since we signed him, and I can’t wait to see how he performs against Sylwester, who will be far from an easy opponent.”

Cartwright has emerged as one of the best fighters in Europe’s leading and longest-running mixed martial arts promotion. He captured the bantamweight title with a pair of first-round knockouts in the four-man, one-night title tournament at Cage Warriors: Unplugged 2 in 2019. His 2020 campaign saw him extend his perfect record with two more wins, including a first-round submission of Gerardo Fanny in his last fight at CW115.

He will have to take out one of Poland’s most dangerous submission artists if he wants to hang onto his hardware and keep his undefeated streak intact.

Miller has earned six of his wins by submission, and all but one have come inside the first round.

Cage Warriors 120, 121 and 122 will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass from London’s York Hall on Thursday 18th, Friday 19th and Saturday 20th March.
