Winning At BRAVE CF 50 Could Raise Kevin Ruart’s Stock As Super Welterweight Contender

“The Jordanian Lion” Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi and Ismail “The Austrian Wonderboy” Naurdiev will battle each other in the main event of BRAVE CF 50 on Thursday, April 1 for the right to be called the undisputed World Super Welterweight Champion.

But before they go head-to-head in the feature attraction of the said much-awaited extravaganza held at the historic Arad Fort in Bahrain, a pivotal match in the stacked 175-pound weight class will also take place on the main card earlier in the evening as Swiss sensation Kevin Ruart squares off with Denmark’s very own Louis “Spartacus” Glismann.

Ruart has been on a roll since October 2016, winning seven consecutive bouts with four coming by way of submission and two via knockout. In his first two outings under the BRAVE CF banner, he left quite an impression by stopping Ibrahim Mane and Ion Surdu.

In the other corner, Glismann has gone 1-1 in his last two assignments, submitting Henri Lintula with a rear-naked choke in his August 2020 promotional debut before succumbing to Abdoul Abdouraguimov’s arm-triangle choke three months later.

With the organization’s super welterweight division welcoming a new roster of talent most recently, a decisive victory against a game opponent such as Glismann could earn Ruart an express pass to the upper echelon.

Sustaining his fine form inside the BRAVE CF cage seems to be the top priority for Ruart if he wishes to land a potential date with the winner of the Al-Silawi vs. Naurdiev championship clash on Thursday.
