During the UFC Vegas 29 fight against Dan Ige, a Korean Zombie popped his shoulder in and out

If you’re already a Chan Sung Jung fan, this story will make you fall in love with him even more. “The Korean Zombie” injured his right shoulder for a brief minute during his headliner battle against Dan Ige at UFC Vegas 29 on Saturday, according to his coach Eddie Cha in a post-fight interview with UFC correspondent Laura Sanko.

He did pop his shoulder in and out, the same shoulder he damaged up in his battle with Aldo (in 2013). He’ll never say something like that…

When he went for the takedown and took (Ige’s) back in the second round, it happened. That’s when it started to come in and out a little.

So we were kind of constantly telling him to raise his hands and after the fight, he’s like ‘that’s why I couldn’t raise my hand.’ We were like, ‘Oh, OK.’

After losing to Brian Ortega in October, Jung is back in the win column with his unanimous decision victory over Ige.
