Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Hailey Cowan

LFA and the lone star state have been joined at the hip since their promotional inception. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a six-stared eagle looking to deliver some Texas thunder and cement herself as the promotion’s golden girl at 135 pounds in route to a bigger stage and brighter lights such as Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2018 and representing Blitz Sport USA, Hailey Cowan holds a 5-2 record in seven professional bouts comprised of two knockouts, one submission, and two decisions. Cowan has spent her entire career as a pro-MMA fighter with Legacy Fighting Alliance thus far. She is currently 5-2 under the LFA banner, with three finishes under her belt for the promotion. Cowan has gone to the scorecards twice during her pro career. The majority of her victories during her time in the professional MMA ranks have come within the first two rounds, with one first-round finish under her belt.

In her second outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 52, she faced Sha Whittington and went on to defeat her via TKO in the first round. Cowan knocked out Jessica Sotack in the second round at LFA 55. Then at LFA 63, she submitted Sarah Click via rear-naked choke in round two to pick up her first and only submission win as a professional so far. Cowan defeated Jessica Middleton via unanimous decision at LFA 73 to earn her fourth win under the LFA banner.

At LFA 83, she defeated Brittney Cloudy via a split decision. The victory earned Cowan the second decision win of her professional career. She also picked up win number five under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. Cowan would make a prime candidate for the fifth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series thanks to her trademark Texas heat!
