Across The Pond Profile: Bellator MMA fighter Davion Franklin

Under Scott Coker’s leadership, Bellator MMA has rebuilt their prospective MMA empire the way a master craftsman constructs their dream house. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a bulldozer of dusty doom whose steamrolling power have foes encased in a tightly sealed tomb that they can not escape from. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2020 and representing Jackson-Wink MMA, Davion Franklin owns an undefeated 4-0 professional record comprised of three knockouts and one decision. Franklin has spent his entire tenure as a pro-MMA fighter with Bellator MMA thus far, with three first-round finishes under his belt for the promotion in four appearances with Bellator MMA overall. He is currently 4-0 under the banner of Bellator MMA. The bulk of Franklin’s victories during his time in the professional MMA ranks have come within the first round in the space of five minutes or less. Franklin has only gone to the scorecards once during his pro career.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 239, he faced JW Kiser and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. Franklin also defeated Ras Hylton via technical unanimous decision at Bellator 246. Then in his third appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 259, he knocked out Tyler King in the first round to pick up victory number three with Bellator MMA.

At Bellator 264, Franklin defeated Everett Cummings via TKO in round one. The victory earned Franklin the third knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up his fourth win in a row under the banner of Bellator MMA in the process along with his third first-round finish. With a finishing rate of 75 percent and yet to see his record stained by defeat, Franklin is one bulldozer that stays in constant overdrive every time he enters the cage to bury opponents deep under the earth!
