Across The Pond Profile: Invicta Fighting Championships fighter Katie Saull

While the rest of the globe begins to awaken from their fitful sleep, many stateside promotions are full steam ahead. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an eagle of enteral cold ready to rise from the ashes in a blaze of Canadian fire at Invicta FC 44 on August 27. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2017 and representing Winnipeg Academy of Mixed Martial Arts, Katie Saull holds a 3-4 record through seven professional bouts comprised of two decisions and one submission. Saull fought for King Of The Cage, a North American MMA promotion based in California prior to making her promotional debut with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 36 in August 2019. Saull has gone to the scorecards twice during her time in the professional MMA ranks, sweeping the scorecards across the board both times. She has finished one out of her three victories over the course of her career as a pro-MMA fighter so far, with one first-round finish under her belt. The one and only finish during her career as a professional mixed martial artist has come within the opening round within the space of fewer than five minutes.

At King Of The Cage Last Stand, she faced Kelly Vilarino and went on to submit her in the first round via armbar. Saull also defeated Andy Nguyen via unanimous decision at King Of The Cage Mercenaries 2. Then at King Of The Cage Impending Attack, she defeated Cassie Robb via unanimous decision. The victory earned Saull the second decision win of her professional career. She also picked up back to back wins under the banner of King OF The Cage in the process.

For her sophomore outing with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 44 on August 27, she will face Monique Adriane of Brazil in an affair at atomweight. Good luck Katie!
