Marcel Grabinski Says His BRAVE CF 54 Opponent Is Better Than Lucas Mineiro

The last two times Marcel Grabinski was scheduled to fight inside the BRAVE CF Arena, the outcome was a disappointing one, with the German star withdrawing twice from bouts against the former world champion Lucas “Mineiro” Martins.

Grabinski is now set to face Mihail Kotruta at BRAVE CF 54, in Poland, and is not perceiving the new match-up as a downgrade. In fact, he is positive Kotruta will mean a step up in terms of competition from his previous opponent.

“Kotruta is a very dangerous guy, I think”, he said. “It will be a harder fight for me compared to Lucas Martins, because I think he’s better than Mineiro”.

But that doesn’t mean Grabinski moved on from the idea of fighting Lucas. “”I hope we have this fight again in Germany, my home town or in Brazil if BRAVE comes to Brazil so I will fight you in your home. I want this fight against, Lucas”, he stated.

Currently on a 7-win streak, Mihail Kotruta holds a professional record of 13 wins and one loss and is making his BRAVE CF debut. Marcel Grabinski, on the other hand, holds a pro record of 21 wins and 6 losses and is coming off a huge win over Issa Isakov.

BRAVE CF 54 will mark the debut of the truly global MMA promotion in Poland, in the city of Konin. The event, held in association with Galana Exclusive Championship, will be headlined by the Lightweight world title bout between the champion Amin Ayoub and the challenger Ahmed Amir.
