PFL MMA APPOINTS SPORTS INDUSTRY LEADER BRIAN PRESSMAN AS VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS

The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, today announced that established sports sales and partnerships leader Brian Pressman will join the company’s executive team as Vice President of Global Partnerships. In this role, Pressman will bring his expertise across corporate partnerships, event sales, licensing, and intellectual property to support the growth of the rapidly expanding PFL brand partnership portfolio.

Pressman is an accomplished industry executive with more than 17 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry with an extensive background in the media and corporate partnership space. He most recently served as Senior Director of Global Sales & Partnerships for WWE, which followed a tenure at the NFL where he led the U.S. Digital Sales team as Vice President of Sales & Sponsorship for NFL Media.

Throughout his career, Pressman has consistently exceeded revenue goals and will strengthen the PFL’s global partnership team which has recently secured deals with VersusGame, Columbia Care, CollectibleXchange and HotelPlanner. He joins PFL as the league continues to experience a tremendously successful 2021 which saw an 87% growth increase in average audience for the 2021 Playoffs, a 39% growth increase in average audience for the 2021 season, an expanded global footprint with elite fighters from more than 20 countries and new partnerships with leading international media companies.

“I’m thrilled to join the PFL as they continue their tremendous momentum thanks to a highly successful 2021 season,” said Pressman. “While they’ve already seen massive success on the partnerships side, I’m excited to use my experience to bring on board even more top-tier brands to this exciting and highly engaging platform.”

“We could not be more excited to welcome Brian Pressman to the PFL as we continue to scale our best-in-class partnerships business,” said PFL CRO Jon Tuck. “Brian is a well-respected, driven executive who has performed at a high level at the NFL and the WWE. I am confident that he will help new brands leverage PFL‘s dynamic platform to reach our massive, young, engaged fan base and add to our blue-chip roster of partners including Anheuser-Busch, Columbia Care, DraftKings, IBM, Bose, Geico, and Carparts.com.”

The PFL returns to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Wednesday, October 27 for the biggest night in MMA. The PFL World Championship will feature the final two fighters across all six divisions who will aim to become a world champion and earn the $1 million purse.

Professional Fighters League has quickly established itself as the No. 2 MMA company in the world. With the addition of world-class talent – from elite fighters to established business executives – and partnering with industry-leading brands such Anheuser-Busch InBev, Geico, DraftKings, Bose, CarParts.com, BetMGM, Air Force Reserve, US Marines, Acronis, Upper Deck, and others, the PFL continues to accelerate its global expansion.
