Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Daniel Argueta

Some cast-offs from The Ultimate Fighter often turn out to be another promotion’s blessing. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a serpent of southwestern sand looking to uncoil himself from the darkened shadows with an unquestioned vengeance at LFA 116 on October 22. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2019 and representing Jackson-Wink MMA, Daniel Argueta holds an undefeated 5-0 professional record comprised of three submissions, one knockout, and one decision. Argueta appeared on The Ultimate Fighter season 29 as a member of team Ortega in 2021. He has finished four out of his five victories over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far and is currently 2-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. The bulk of Argueta’s wins during his time in the professional ranks within the opening round, with four first-round finishes under his belt. He has only gone to the scorecards a single time, sweeping the scorecards across the board in that one and only instance.

In his MMA debut at LFA 65, he faced Max Rojas and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round, Argueta submitted Christain Hermosillo in round one via rear-naked choke at Combate 41. Then at Fight Card Entertainment Supremacy 2019, he tapped out Ronny Davila via rear-naked choke in the first round. Argueta submitted Roger Stevenson in round one via rear-naked choke at Combate Americas Stockton to pick up his third submission win as a professional. At LFA 90, he defeated Jackson Filho via unanimous decision to earn victory number two under the LFA banner. Argueta was selected to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter season 29 cast in 2021 and was the number one bantamweight selection of team Ortega.

In the co-main event of LFA 116 on October 22, he will face Rodney Mondala in an affair at bantamweight. Good luck Daniel!
