A professional mixed martial artist since March 2016 and representing American Top Team Lima, Cody Durden owns a 12-3-1 record over the course of 15 professional bouts comprised of five submissions, five knockouts, two decisions, and a draw. Durden has finished 10 out of his 12 wins during his journey thus far as a pro-MMA fighter. He fought for various promotions throughout the southern region of the United States prior to debuting with the UFC at UFC On ESPN Plus 31 in August 2021. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his time as a professional mixed martial artist, sweeping the scorecards across the board both times. In his MMA debut, he defeated Marcus Levester via TKO in the first round. Durden also defeated his next three opponents that included victories over Dave Morgan and Demarcus Holmes. Then at 864 Fighting Championship, he defeated Todd Monroe via TKO in round one. Durden defeated Moore for the second time via armbar in the third round. He defeated Dylan Schulte via TKO in round one at SCL Army versus Marines 10. At Valor Fighting Challenge 59, Durden tapped out Jeremy Rogers in the first round via armbar. He defeated Dre Miley via TKO in round two at Valor Fighting Challenge 66. At NFC 124, he submitted Varon Webb via rear-naked choke in the first round. Durden defeated John Sweeney via TKO in round one at NFC 125.
in his third outing with the UFC at UFC On ESPN Plus 56, he defeated Quileng Aori via unanimous decision. The win earned Durden the second decision victory of his professional career. He also picked up his first victory under the UFC banner in the process. Durden is one bulldog who is just beginning to show the big boys how sharp his bite can be once he is turned loose!
