Across The Pond, you will meet a fighter whose ability to constantly push the pace makes him one of Europe’s top flyweight prospects. A professional since February 2015 and representing Avaddon MMA, 24 year old Jamie Powell holds a 6-0 record consisting of three submissions and three decisions.
In his MMA debut, Jamie submitted Yousef Baiza via armbar in the second round. Then he defeated Ivo Furtado via unanimous decision. At BAMMA 21, Powell submitted Arnaud Dos Santos via rear naked choke in round two. He also submitted Nordic fighter Nils Henrik Tjikkom via rear naked choke in the first round. In 2016, Jamie defeated Spencer Hewitt via unanimous decision. At BCMMA 16 he defeated Owen Gayle via unanimous decision to become the BCMMA Flyweight champion. This fireball is definitely a prospect to watch out for heading into next year!
