On December 15, Legacy Fighting Alliance will host their final event of 2017 with LFA 29. Here are three fighters to watch out for on the card.
Ricky Simon – This hot Pacific Northwest prospect heads into the main event of LFA 29 on the heels of a three fight win streak. 25-year-old Ricky Simon owns a 10-1 record in eleven career bouts consisting of four knockouts, five decisions and one submission. I think whoever is able to neutralise the other’s offence holds the key to victory in this contest. Ricky is coming off a split decision victory over Donavan Frelow at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 5 in August 2017. In UFC veteran Chico Camus, Ricky is facing a more experienced opponent who holds a well-rounded attack. Chico’s last victory inside the LFA cage came at LFA 2 in January 2017 where he defeated Darrick Minner via unanimous decision.
Nate Jennerman –
This Midwestern submission specialist owns a 9-3 record with the majority of his wins coming via choke. I think if Nate takes his opponent down and get it to the ground, he will ultimately win this contest. Nate’s last victory inside the LFA cage came at LFA 12 in May 2017 where he submitted Damien Hill in the first round via guillotine choke. In Sam Toomer, Nate is facing a fighter who holds a 11-1 record with a mixture of striking, ground skills and the ability to keep it on the feet if needed. Sam’s last victory was a first round TKO of Anthony Avila at GKO 9 in March 2017.
Cameron Olson –
This Light Heavyweight Roufusport product is no stranger to the bright lights after defeating Karl Reed at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 6 via unanimous decision in August 2017. I think if Cameron is able to be the bully and break his opponent’s will he will earn the victory in this fight In Jaquis Willams, Cameron is facing a well rounded opponent who holds a 7-6 record in thirteen career contests. Jaquis’s last victory was a first round submission win at Shamrock FC 289 in May 2017.
