Interview with Henry done by Mick Kane of MMA UK-
MMAUK: You are scheduled to fight Georgi Karakhanyan at Bellator 192 on January 20. How do you see the fight playing out? What do you know of your opponent?
HC: Georgi is a very tough experienced vet who’s fought some tough dudes. I have my work cut out for me. Knowing this has brought out my best efforts during this camp. I see a high paced fight full of action!
MMAUK: You have come through a tough start to your Bellator career to win your last 2 fights. Do you feel you learned from the defeats to Daniel Straus, Patricio Freire and Emmanuel Sanchez? Certainly was a baptism of fire taking on a former champ, current champ and experienced veteran!
HC: Yeah man, those dudes took me to school and I took lots of notes and went back to the drawing board, came back stronger than ever in my last 2 performances.
MMAUK: In your last fight you defeated Noad Lahat to win by unanimous decision. Did the fight go as you expected?
HC: The fight against Noad didn’t go as expected. I should have finished him. I was disappointed in myself but grateful I got the victory which has led to this big fight against Georgi.
MMAUK: How did you become involved in MMA?
HC: I started fighting because I’ve been getting into confrontations my whole life, I love sports and working out and so this just seemed like a perfect fit.
MMAUK: What do you hope to achieve within the sport?
HC: I hope to achieve some more champion credentials and keep evolving as a martial artist.
MMAUK: Who has been an inspiration for you from within the sport?
HC: My teammates have been a huge inspiration since the get-go.
