UFC 223 has been left in disarray after the recent announcement that featherweight champion Max Holloway has been declared medically unfit to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight championship.
Details are just emerging however it seems Holloway, who took the fight on six days notice, had to cut 20 lbs and has suffered a bad weight cut.

One fighter who has made championship weight and on the card all ready is Paul Felder and he was quick to offer to step in.

However there are reports that former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is in line to get the fight after his original opponent, Michael Chiesa was pulled due to injury after the McGregor melee with the UFC fighters bus.
Anthony Pettis has now been called upon to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. He has yet to weigh in. He has an hour to do so. He was left opponentless after Chiesa got cut yesterday. UFC confirms. @MMAjunkie first reported.
