UFC superstar Conor McGregor appeared in court today in Brooklyn and pleaded guilty to a single charge of disorderly conduct and has agreed to a plea deal that saw all the felony counts against him dismissed.
He will avoid a jail sentence but will be required to fulfil five days of community service, undergo anger management and has to fully reimburse the bus company.
The agreement means McGregor will not have a criminal record and is free to travel in the USA.
McGregor had faced felony charges for throwing a dolly at a bus at UFC 223 media event in The Barclays Centre in Brooklyn on 5th April. As a result, Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg were forced to withdraw from their fight.
Outside the court, McGregor said, “I want to say to my friends, my family, my fans, thank you for the support.”
